Penny-Farthing
The penny-farthing bicycle was invented in 1871 by a Frenchman called Eugene Mayer. Unsurprisingly, it became obsolete by the late 1880s as more modern chain-driven bicycles started to become available.
For this museum exhibition, I have created a top-of-the-range gold and black version that showcases the opulence of this unique mode of transportation.
