Trilobite
I present to you a trilobite exhibit from the paleontological collection of the Natural History Museum.
Trilobites appeared about 550 to 530 million years ago.
The last trilobites probably went extinct during a cataclysm 252 million years ago.
These were exclusively marine animals.
Trilobites ranged in size from 1 millimeter to 90 centimeters.
They could curl up into a ball and thus protect themselves when attacked.
Their main enemies were large cephalopods, as well as predatory fish, predatory arthropods, etc.
Rich paleontological material was preserved after them.
Their fossils can be found all over the world.
