The Theory of (Minifigures) Evolution
In a Natural History Museum an exhibit explaining the Theory of Evolution is a must-have. So the minifigures deserve one illustrating their history too. After their first appearance in 1974, in only four years they took on the features they still have today. The exhibit consists of three figures that embody the main steps of evolution: the "buildable figure" (1974), the "static figure" (1975) and finally the "minifigure" (1978). On the wall behind them, pictures show some of the first figures for each age.
The minifigure visitors can even pose for a photo, proposing themselves, with their stilish new clothes, as the next step of evolution.
