The GEM of the Museum

The Hall of Geodes! Whenever I go to a natural History museum I always make sure that their gemstone collections are always near the top of my to-see list. Seeing all of those shiny sparkly gems always creates a feeling of awe in me! How could something so simple as coal be transformed into one of the most beautiful substances of earth: Diamond! In my diorama I took the floor plan of the second story and modified it to fit in between the first floor and second floor creating a middle floor for the spectacular Natural History museum. This floor would fit right in! There are 4 major displays ranging from a simple collection of gemstones to a huge 7 brick tall geode protected by a red barrier! There also is a huge geode laying on its side. To top it all off there are shiny gemstones sprinkled all over the room. This floor of the museum is very popular with the visitors partially because of the awe inspiring geode collection.
