A Dodo Exhibit

Hi everyone!

The dodo definitely deserves a spot in the museum. I really like pigeons and dodos are related to them, so I would have loved to see this creature in real life. This funny looking little bird unfortunately became extinct a couple centuries ago and it's such a shame.

The little sapling behind the dodo is a Sideroxylon grandiflorum (tambalacoque or dodo tree). It was believed that the seed could only germinate if it had passed through the digestive tract of the dodo. I wonder how it was able to grow on my exhibit though...
