Duplodocus

The Lego Natural History Museum is proud to present a new exhibit: the Duplodocus!

One of the largest creatures that ever roamed our earth, Duplodocus lived during the Late Jurassic.
Of course, 150 million years ago Lego had not yet been invented. However, Duplo bones have been discovered at recent dinosaur digs.
One of the recently discovered Duplodocus bones

Dr Patricia Brickman, curator at the museum: 'It was clear from the bones that these belonged to a very large specimen. We decided to construct a life-size model using the fossilised bones as reference. The Duplodocus is so big, a special wing had to be added to the museum to house this new exhibit. We hope it will attract visitors of all ages.'

Scientists are so thrilled with this new discovery that a worldwide Duplo-building crazing has taken hold of the paleontology community. Who knows, perhaps many more Duplosaur species are waiting to be discovered...
