Blue Whale Skeleton

The majestic skeleton of the world's largest living animal, made in minifig scale. As a child I walked through natural history museums full of wonder, and as an adult I still enjoy visiting them very much. Especially the giant skeletons were and are an awe-inspiring sight, and that of the blue whale a testament to the incredible and beautiful life in the oceans.

This is the first time I have created a design with LEGO Technic, a super fun challenge with a result I am very proud of!

My design consists of a skeleton of a blue whale, with small spoons, bananas and cleavers as details, and a museum floor vignette with a minifigure representing myself as a child in front of a display case with a piece of coral reef.
