The Brown Bear - Forest Patronus
The bear is a symbol of strength and resilience, both of which are embodied fully when a wizard casts Expecto Patronum. As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew I had to build a bear, as bears are both connected to me personally and also a great Patronus that does not get any recognition in the films. The forest needs its ferocious, yet (kind of) cuddly protector, and the Brown Bear Patronus will have no trouble fending off all kinds of trouble, especially those ghastly Dementors! This bear is depicted standing on guard, similar to the Guardian Dragon statues of East Asia, or the Lions of Britain and Europe. I wanted to show this strength in the model's pose that it has an unwavering heart, as should the wizard who the Brown Bear fights beside.
The bear takes up a bit more than 500 pieces and is made of only Light and Dark Blue bricks.
P.S.
The Hufflepuff crest is a nod to the result of my Buzzfeed "Harry Potter House" quiz and nothing more, the Brown Bear DOES NOT pick sides. :)
