Tie the Knot
We have all heard the old phrase of tying the knot, which used to be a literal knot that was tied as part of the marriage ceremony. So I thought what a better inspiration for a love inspired Lego set. I decided to base the design on the Celtic love knot design, along with a simple stand to display it when done.
Lego is more than just a toy, it is an experience to be shared with those you love, your children, siblings, friends, and even significant others. So I purposely designed this set to be a joint effort, two halves built by two people that can then be brought together at the end. I also wanted whatever couple building this could also build a minifig representation of themselves or their partner. Kind of like in the "Make Your Own Movie" set, it comes with a couple different torsos, legs, heads and hair to pick from. I also wanted to make sure that at least two female and two male figures were able to be built, because all couples deserve to show their Lego love too.
How many LEGO elements have you used in your design?
