Leo Fender's Workshop
This model is a tribute to Leo Fender, the genius behind the mighty Stratocaster. It consists of a recreation of his workshop, where he built almost all his designs. The model has a total of 7+ references to Leo´s life.
- There´s a poster with the emblem of Anaheim, Fender´s birthplace
- Under a desk a spartan helmet lies. This references Leo´s real name, which was Leonidas, despite many people believing it was Leonardo
- Hung up on the wall, there´s a Fender Telecaster, the model prior to the Stratocaster
- On a shelf there´s a radio, since Leo discovered his passion in electronics by helping his uncle repair these devices
- On a desk, a calculator lies, referenciating Fender´s degree in accountancy
- A banner reading: "Fender´s Radio Service" is hung up on the wall, since prior to guitar building, Leo had a radio-repair-center with this name
- There´s a toilet seat on a desk, because when Fender went to patent the Stratocaster, they laughed at him, saying that the guitar looked like one
