Sunburst!
The Fender Stratocaster comes in a wide variety of colors, but few perhaps are more iconic than the sunburst finish. I was inspired to build a Stratocaster that represented this style, because it is such a staple form of an incredibly popular guitar. Musicians have been using sunburst Stratocasters for decades, going back all to way to the early days of Rock and Roll with performers like Buddy Holly and Richie Valens.
The build itself took about three days to make, and consists of over 600 pieces. The trickiest part of its construction was trying to get the finish to appear natural with the body of the guitar. I tried not to pay close attention to the Official LEGO Stratocaster model, so this is a completely original build. Thanks for checking it out.
