Dire Straits, on Every Street

Favorite Fender song? For me that’s without a doubt: ‘On Every Street’ by the Dire Straits, with Strat-adept Mark Knopfler, recognized as one of the best guitarists ever.
This song means so much to me. In short, for me it represents my dad who died when I just turned 4, fueling my questions summarized in the first line “there’s gotta be a record of you some place”. It takes me high and low, first half with striking lyrics and second half with a guitar loop that should last forever.
The live show was distributed on CD/DVD named ‘On the night’ It has the Very Large Array (VLA) sattelite installations in New Mexico on the cover, surely meant to protrait the Arena as a broadcasting dish to reach out to the world.
This (physical brick) build is an interpretation of the May'92 show in the Nîmes Arena, France. The piano background shows the CGC triad played in the verses. The base of the outro is Fender magic, hence the big (70% sized) Fender stage, framed in an ancient Arena. Pure emotion!
