Smashing guitars became a rite of passage amongst performers, and at the center of this movement the beloved Fender, sent to the grave in a shower of strings and frets.

This was my first thought when I read about this contest, an iconic guitar in an iconic ritual. Building a life-size replica was really the only way to go.
