Fender on the Rocks

Hereby i present my first ever MOC on lego Ideas! As a guitar player myself i couldn't pass up the opportunity to combine 2 of my hobbies.

A tribute to the Fender Strat carved into the side of an active volcano!

The volcano itself was chosen for the backdrop as every "rock" show needs some pyro, so flammable gasses produced by the volcanic activity were rerouted by the minifigs who built it into a series of huge flames bursting out of the mountainside.

The guitar was painted in red as the builders ran out of paint to "paint it black" like they originally planned. The added bonus of this was that it stands out against the gray background.

This build contains 357 Parts total with 68 parts in the guitar alone.
