Van Halen "Frankenstrat" Fender Stratocaster

Van Halen is one of the defining bands of the 80's rock era. I felt that building their most famous guitar for this contest fitted the theme well. Here's some facts about the guitar: it was pieced together in a hotel room the night before a big show; It only has a tone knob and not a volume knob; the five-way selector switch wasn't even wired into the guitar, Eddie Van Halen just crammed it into the body cavity; and only one of the pickups actually worked. This mosaic is an interesting way to depict this legendary guitar in honor of the late Eddie Van Halen. I had some trouble uploading the images and I apologize for the sideways photos.
