Grandfather Clock

Ironically, the Grandfather Clock is far from "timeless," and yet it fits the brief of this challenge so well! An iconic piece of decor, this recreation is gleaming with personality and function! Watch the hands tick round the clock face, and the pendulum swing mesmerisingly by turning a small crank at the back to bring this vintage classic to life.

Grandfather clocks are well-loved around the world. This model makes for a striking display piece, with the functions bringing a fun interactive element to the set. It fits playfully into this "timeless" challenge (time, and clocks, go on forever!) and it's multiple sections make the build process enjoyable and engaging.

The wooden textures are created through a range of techniques and npu - see if you can spot all the hidden pieces in the build! (Pretzels, carrots, and fried egg to name a few!)
