Ole Kirk Christiansen's Tool Box
Most people have a toolbox somewhere in their house, so I have designed a classic vintage toolbox with some fun details and interactive features.
Ole Kirk Christiansen was a carpenter who made wooden toys including the wooden duck and went on to found the LEGO company. My toolbox is a fun build that would make a great set for all LEGO fans.
As a teacher of Design & Technology (including woodwork) I thought it would be fun to combine my passion for woodwork and LEGO. My brick built tool box contains a saw, a folding ruler, a carpenter's mallet and a pencil.
Inside the drawer there's a minifigure scale workshop that shows the manufacture of the classic LEGO wooden duck, sawing, assembly and painting.
I love to add movement to my designs so have added a fun play feature. When you turn the crank handle at the side of the toolbox, the saw will move from side to side and the head of the wooden mallet will lift up and down. I will add a video of it soon.
Thankyou for your support.
