George Nelson Ball Clock
Part of an innovative collection by George Nelson in 1947, the Ball clock was a result of Nelson's genius reinterpretation of the classic wall clock. It embodies the celebration of life and renewed purpose of the 1950.
George Nelson is regarded as one of the most important figures in American design. George’s clocks were designed to tell the time, yes, but, more importantly than that, they were created to push the boundaries of interior decoration. In the post-war years, colour, shape and pattern were embraced more fervently than ever before and that obsession continues today.
