Antique Astronomer’s Telescope
I've always been fascinated by the stars and there's something magical about those old, brass telescopes you'd see in vintage observatories or adventure movies. That’s what inspired me to build this antique-style LEGO telescope.
It stands on a classic tripod, full of small details that give it that old-world charm. It’s the kind of model you’d proudly display on a shelf, but it’s also meant to spark curiosity about the cosmos.
One of my favorite parts? The 2x2 round tiles that show different constellations. I imagine these as collectible prints - each one representing a zodiac sign or a famous star pattern. For this version, I added a personal touch: Taurus, my own zodiac sign.
When I was a kid, I’d spend hours just staring at the night sky, dreaming of having a telescope of my own. I never got one—so I built it now, from bricks. And maybe, just maybe, it'll inspire others to do the same and look up at the stars with wonder.
I hope you like it!
