Functioning Coffee Grinder

This model is a replica of my grandma’s old coffee grinder—the one I used to play with as a kid. Today, the real grinder sits on a shelf in my kitchen, and I think it makes a perfect nostalgic display piece.

For this LEGO version, I used around 800 parts. It even includes a functional technic mechanism that mimics the process of grinding coffee beans. Push the side lever to reveal a hidden refill compartment, then turn the handle to "grind" the bricks. As you do, small parts—representing ground coffee—are released into the drawer below.
