Working Steam Engine Model
I would like to present to you my build that brings James Watt’s steam engine (featuring parallel linkage for double action) to life — detailed model perfect for both history buffs and LEGO enthusiasts. This set captures the ingenuity and transformative power of the Industrial Revolution, making it more than just a toy — it's a storytelling piece that celebrates innovation.
This LEGO set not only provides a fun building experience but also educates about one of history’s pivotal technological advances — Watt’s improvements that powered factories, railways, and ships.
Its dynamic, movable parts make it a great display piece, and the vintage design exudes a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of the early days of mechanized power. The model is equipped with pneumatic cylinders and a pneumatic pump (instead of steam) which are used to make the engine working.
