Vintage Telescope

The telescope is one of the most iconic inventions in human history. They've revolutionised our understanding of the world and its place within the universe.

This model is based on an antique brass telescope with tripod. It's made from 600 pieces and is 40cm high and 53cm long. Not only would this make an iconic display piece but I've also included some neat working functions as well.

The rear lens can be removed which allows a printed scene to be fitted inside. I've designed 4 bespoke graphics. Can you spot references to some classic LEGO history on a couple of these?

A button can be pressed above the lens which activates a light brick, illuminating the inside of the barrel. The image is then viewed through the lens which is made using a minifig magnifying glass element.

The telescope is fully articulated and features a removeable lens cap.
