The Garden Gazebo

At summer camp, the gazebo tucked away into a garden was where I'd escape from the activity to be... still. Simple wooden beams overhead, cool benches beneath me, and nothing but quiet all around. Years later, I still remember how that space made even the most chaotic days feel manageable.

My 1210-piece LEGO build celebrates why gazebos have remained unchanged for centuries. Their design - peaked roofs, open sides, solid craftsmanship - lives on because it perfectly balances shelter with openness and privacy with connection.

I've focused on capturing the wooden roof beams, delicate slats that line the sides, arched entrances that frame the views, climbing roses that wind along the exterior, and the cobblestone grounds that embrace the structure.

Very few things are truly timeless - but the gazebo stands among them. Generation after generation has found their way back to the garden to connect, hide away, find shelter, and be still.
