Salvador Dalí's Melting Clock

My passion for Dalí has made me recreate one of his famous clocks in LEGO pieces. Salvador's works are unique and recognizable from the first moment. I wanted that to happen with the watch.

It has been difficult to give the watch an organic and flabby shape and to remain rigid so that it can be held from any edge of a piece of furniture. This has been a challenge for me creating an upper base that weighs more than the lower one and achieving a 90º angle. This design can also be kept straight and hung on a wall.

The project has 1040 pieces.

I wanted to create a decorative object with which everyone who saw it, thinks that time is important.

I think it's a great idea to turn something stiff and hard into something that looks flabby. I love doing this with LEGO!

Any art lover could have this clock in their office or home to decorate.

For me, it is one of the most recognizable elements of surrealism that cannot be missing in homes or in LEGO sets!
