A Moment in Plastic (Glass)
As I take a walk I pass by a heritage home with the loveliest original stained glass windows. The light beams through just so, and a dazzling array of colours appears. It’s mesmerizing.
It’s also quite inspiring.
I tried to recreate that same effect in brick. This build is made up of 1867 parts. Its dimensions are 2.9 x. 9.7 x 9.9 in inches I spent a fair bit of time carefully planning the pattern of the “glass” itself.
Imagine this displayed in your home. Placed in indirect but sufficient lighting. The kind of piece that makes you stop and take a moment.
