Suit of Armor

I cannot think of a more timeless and iconic LEGO set than a Suit of Armor. LEGO could take this product idea and turn it into a masterpiece of art and engineering and create a truly iconic display piece for one's home. And since I wanted to showcase the idea with as much potential as my skills could muster, I went full "shiny" with the metallic silver coloring! This build is 1711 pieces and measures almost 18 inches tall. It is an idea I have had for years, and I actually built a previous version of the design in real life to test the stability. It features a single LEGO mini figure that helps show off the scale of the build, and a printed tile labeling the display. While a sword would have been a fantastic addition, the rules prevented it, and so I included a shield instead.
