'Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas
'Twas the nightmare before Christmas and all through Town Hall
Every creeper was stirring, every spook large and small
The stockings were hung by the monster with care
In hopes that great Sandy Claws soon would be there
The spiders were wrapping each gift in silk threads
While visions of ghoulish toys danced in their heads
And wreaths with their deep glares and Jack's bright red cap
Added cheer to the air like a spiced gingersnap
The tree was encircled by snake's curling coils
The gifts all lined up as reward for its toils
And pumpkins on boughs next to eyes all agleam
Gave the finishing touch to this spookiest scene
