Eruptonyx

     What happens when you combine a creature with the very thing that can destroy it? Together, Dr Wu and I combined the DNA of a Carnotaurus and an infusion of lava to create the Eruptonyx! Our surprising results showed that the lava upgraded nearly every part of the Carnotaurus's original form, creating a rock hard hide, natural immunity to heat, and surprisingly, a love for roasted marshmallows.

     Since its insides are made of pure lava, if the Eruptonyx gets injured or loses a limb, it will simply grow back, but made of lava, which hardens back into rock over time. You would think the molten rock would slow him down, but the Eruptonyx is still able to run at the Carnotaurus's original speed of 40 mph, which is fast for its size! The head of the Eruptonyx is no exception to the upgrades, with an impressive 8000 pounds per square inch bite force (more than double a crocodile).

   Once we made the Eruptonyx however, we realized that he loved marshmallows a little too much and evacuated.
