Celebrating Classics: Iconic Headlight Brick & Plate

The headlight brick is a classic part that came from classic car themes as a sideways headlight piece, however in terms of the early Lego system themes this piece with a half plate offset allowed for countless building techniques. The headlight brick also has an anti-stud connection in the back to accept studs in the Lego system (unlike technic brick 1x1) while the hollow stud can also hold bars.

FUN FACT - The headlight brick is so iconic that it is even used in even later themes such as the creator expert theme logo.

I have enlarged the headlight brick 6x exactly (except the studs diameters) with the original size near it, for example; the headlight brick is 1 brick tall whereas the bigger 6:1 one is 6 bricks tall.

I physically built a 6:1 rainbow version of the headlight brick and a 6:1 1x1 plate to confirm that it can connect just as the original one does being from the bottom, top, front and back.
