Vintage Transportation: Alfred’s Horse and Cart
Off to the market we go! In this build, Alfred is taking his prized pumpkins to market with his trusty horse and cart. Alfred has his worn map and a walking stick just in case he has to get off and help his horse through rugged terrain. This two-wheeled cart was often used in the early 20th century, as well as the 18th and 19th centuries, to transport a few people or items like produce to markets or just around town. Horses and carts were even used back in the old days in Egypt. They are very reliable and have been used throughout generations. They were very affordable compared to buggies, wagons, and automobiles, and they were very reliable, had true horsepower, and didn’t need gasoline!
I hope you enjoy Alfred and his horse and cart!
