Vintage Transportation: Horsepower
Two medieval travellers journey through the kingdom using their horse and cart.
Before engines, we relied on a far more literal example of horsepower! This model celebrates the medieval carts and horses used across the realms in the past.
The travellers are approaching a candlelit bridge, which curves over a small flowing stream. A cobbled path winds through the green landscape, and a young tree brings some life to the skyline.
The build uses advanced techniques and lots of nice parts usage to achieve its whimsical character. The path uses 1x2 modified plates beneath the cobbles to create a graceful curving shape, the bridge uses stone hammers and ball joints for its shaping and texture, and the tree uses egg shells to achieve an organic and leafy effect. The carriage is colourful and messily strewn with accessories, contrasting with the clean black border that surrounds the scene.
