Vintage Transportation: Convair Model 118

The Convair Model 118 ConvAirCar was a prototype flying car; only two were ever constructed, and they never reached mass production as intended. The wings and motor were removable.

The idea behind the ConvAirCar was to create a vehicle that could seamlessly transition between being a road-worthy automobile and a functional airplane. The concept was born out of the spirit of innovation following World War II. Convair aimed to tap into the growing fascination with personal air travel, a concept that still fascinates many today.

This reproduction measures 27 studs long, 49 studs wide, and 12 bricks high.
