Vintage Transportation: Gasser

Gassers were a type of drag racer that was popular in the 1960s. Racers would strip down unnecessary fenders and bumpers in an effort to save weight. They also converted these cars to a solid axle front suspension to save weight and to allow for better weight transfer under acceleration.
