Celebrating Classics: Shipwreck Island

My favorite Lego theme is the Pirates one.

It has always been funny for me to recreate the adventures of these daring and queer conquerors and there are a lot of Pirates sets of my childwood I remember.

That's why my entry is a "Shipwreck Island".

After conquering a huge treasure, bad luck wants that our pirates are shipwrecked on a desert island. They save their treasure but their ship is completely destroyed...broken parts are scattered on the beach and on the rocks and they use them to survive.

With some wooden parts they create a hut, which they cover with the ship's sails.

They hoist their flag in the upper part of the island and protect the treasure with a cannon, hidden with some big palm leaves.

A monkey and a parrot are with them, while some of their companions' skeletons lie on the rocks.

They have the treasure, but they don't have the possibility to spend it!

But they are pirates...

I really built my entry with my Lego bricks, starting from a 32x32 blue baseplate.
