Cherry Blossom Sensu
The first folding fans were created over 1200 years ago and used to communicate messages as well as signify social class. To celebrate Japanese culture, I have created a traditional Japanese folding fan, also known as a Sensu. The fan is adorned with cherry blossoms that hold great significance in Japanese culture, to signify renewal and hope.
