Touring Japan
This is a shamisen in a storage case that tells the story of the musician's travels around Japan. In the middle of the case is a Japanese three-string instrument called a shamisen, stored with the strings removed but strings can still be attached. To the left of the shamisen is a sensu (folding fan) that the musician might have picked up on a hot summer day to keep themself cool. On the opposite side of the shamisen is the bachi, a tool used to pluck or strum the instrument.
Up on the lid are various moments that the musician collected. They are the following:
- Red origami crane
- Teapot charm
- Two chopsticks
- Small flag of Japan
- Onigiri plush
- Zen garden postcard
- Maki roll postcard
- Stone pagoda lantern postcard
- Sakura postcard

- Lucky cat plush
- Koinobori charm
- Orangish-brown origami crane
- Bamboo forest postcard
- Tokyo tower postcard
- Tancho Kohaku (koi) postcard

The lid can be opened and closed, also the lid has two silver clips.
