Bonnie Scotland
A perfect day to myself would be painting watercolours outdoors, in the beautiful and serene Scottish Highlands.
The countryside surrounding the UK’s highest mountain Ben Nevis (1,345 m) has diverse flora and fauna, and iconic landmarks such as the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
This wee vignette has 3 distinct areas: foreground, middleground and background. Each one a key ingredient when composing the perspective of your painting.
Play features:
- Paint (build) 4 different canvases; Ben Nevis (with steam train), ‘Brandie’ (West Highland Terrier), wild thistles and fluffy sheep.
- Hinged sections allow for 2 display options: near-to-far (suits table) and left-to-right (suits shelf),
Statistics: 249 parts, 189 g and 26x9x8 cm.
Painting watercolours, and building Lego, with sight loss in both eyes is challenging. But the artistic process is rewarding, playful and truly benefits my mental health. Leg Godt!
