Solo Climb at the Bouldering Wall
Bouldering is awesomely the one climbing sport where a partner is not needed. As bouldering walls are shorter, typically not more than 20 feet tall, they can be scaled without ropes. Which means no belay partners are needed, and the assistance of crash pads below helps to minimize risk of injury. It's a great way to blow off steam, get the juices flowing, and connect with one's body through a form of all-body exercise. The mental exertion of completing difficult bouldering routes has always been an engaging form of accomplishment, and it's totally something I can do solo for a Single's Day Celebration.
This design contains 250 pieces. The four walls are supported by an inner structure that features Lego Technic elements. The bouldering wall itself features a slanted overhanging wall, a small training area, and it has five different bouldering routes, each featuring a unique combination of climbing holds. Many of the holds will allow placement of a Lego mini figure to scale the wall.
