The Empty Coffin

A waitress named Lilly finished her shift at the Haunted-themed Dinner and went to the cemetery across the street. Lilly loved visiting the graveyard because it gave her a sense of comfort and safety. Everyone stayed away from her because of her odd interest in cemeteries. They found it bizarre that she could find anything other than sadness around tombstones. However, this graveyard wasn't any graveyard; it was where her best friend was buried. Lilly visited his grave every evening and would talk to him for hours.

However, this night wasn't like the others. As Lily approached his grave, she noticed a hole had appeared where his coffin was. As Lilly stepped closer, she felt an uneasy feeling she had never felt before. Something told her to run and never turn back, but Lilly ignored the feeling and looked into the hole. She froze with fear when she saw an open, empty coffin.
