The Frog Curse

Bernie is at his parents home to celebrate the fortieth birthday of his father. That is the moment his father tells him and his mother about the family curse. Each member of the family will turn into a frog when they turn forty. When they tell the secret to somebody else, they will turn into frogs immediately. Just after he told them about the curse, his father turns into a green frog.

Bernie and his mother are shocked, but it sure explains some events from the past. When Bernie was a kid, he noticed that there were always two frogs near their pond. One time, when he wanted to throw rocks at them, his father scolded him. Mom also remembers dad often talking to the frogs and she heard him call one of the frogs mother once. Realising that those are Bernies grandparents.

Just before he turned into a frog his father told them about a way to break the curse. Will Bernie find the remedy? Time is ticking as his mother will turn forty in a few months.
