Quest to Save the Forest
Upon returning from an audience with the Queen, Roger the Ranger and Dromeda the Druid find the castle of the evil Scarlet Sorcerer floating above their woods and the Sorcerer's dragon burning down the forest. Roger and Dromeda must race against time to save the woods and with it their homes.
With this build I wanted to recreate one of my favourite fantasy tropes: the quest. The destination of a quest is often a powerful evil to be defeated with the good side triumphant.
I made this build using forced perspective in order to make it appear like a long journey. I did this by making the foreground in minifigure scale and the further you go toward the back of the build, the smaller the scale becomes. To enforce this illusion, the path becomes narrower and narrower.
I also wanted to make the build captivating by having an action (the dragon flying and breathing fire) and by having an eye-catcher (the floating castle held up by red magic).
Hope you enjoy the story and thanks for reading :)
