Forest Fairy Tale:

"Let's build us a house!" Mushroom said,

Acorn replied: "Oh, yes! You bet!"

They worked together, day in, day out.

Look what they made, they were so proud.

Rain started pouring, thunder clapped.

"Oh, no! Not our house!" Both of them wept.

Their house collapsed, just as they feared,

then suddenly a small fairy appeared!

She waved her wand, a little aloof.

Oh my! That was such a big poof!

That tiny fir tree changed so much,

it got quite the magical touch.

"A new house for us!" Both jumped for joy,

"This is so cool! Better than a new toy."

Mushroom and Acorn moved right in,

hopeful, for what the future might bring.
