Ayrton Senna and His McLaren MP 4/4
As a fan of Formula 1, I was very excited about this challenge. This is my first participation in a challenge of LEGO IDEAS, dedicated to the success of one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1.
McLaren mp4/4, one of the most successful cars in the history of the Formula 1 championship. This car was driven by the brazilian Ayrton Senna, who won the 1988 Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship with this car.
The set presents Ayrton Senna's McLaren mp4/4 model. The car has a spacious cockpit for a LEGO minifigure. I tried to make the car a faithful copy of the original, both the body and the engine, a Honda RA168E V6 turbo engine, which can be seen if you remove the upper body of the car.
