Functional Ayrton Senna Clock

Time…the building blocks of life… As we know from the story of Ayrton Senna, we never know how much we have left. The clock’s main body is constructed to be the steering wheel of the MP4/4, and it features the Brazilian flag on the bottom and a detailed MP4/4 crossing the finish line on top. Obviously, Senna’s number in the 1988 season was 12 which is prominently displayed on top.
Yes the clock is functional, but sometimes the hands get unsynced and you have to be incredibly patient to turn the crank as there is no motor.XD The inner workings are complicated, and although I tried to make a door to the guts of the clock, it proved too unsound and it kept breaking in half. You can still see some of the gears and hopefully you can understand the workings from the pictures. If you look at the first picture, the time is 12:41, to represent Ayrton’s number and his wins, and Senna himself is on top, with his helmet and a trophy. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it!
