Dream of a Legend
There's no denying the impact that Ayrton Senna managed to achieve on the wheel of the McLaren. After all, the title of Legend was well deserved.
But what I wanted to showcase in this build was not the legend, but what made the legend, or what I believe made the legend.
As kids, we have our dreams. Some wish to be astronauts, some firemen, and there are always some football players or veterinarians. But for little Ayrton, I think the dream was always to be the best race-car driver.
So in this scene, we have a child Ayrton Senna, playing with his toy race cars and dreaming of being the Legend that eventually he'd become. With a micro-scaled McLaren MP4/4, and next to it, his adult self holding the grand prize.
This scene also shows something, even if indirectly. We could all be the child, dreaming of the championship. We can all look at little Ayrton and follow his steps to be the best. Maybe we can't all achieve Legend status on F1, but we can be legends for the ones next to us.
