One Turn at a Time

Although it's hard to encapsulate the legacy of Ayrton Senna and his iconic McLaren Mp4/4 into just one model, and decided to recreate a small portion of a track he dominated throughout his decorated career. Built in microscale, you can see Senna racing through the streets, holding a tight line through a hairpin turn, on his way to clinch another victory.

This was an incredibly fun set to build, and an awesome subject to study as I designed and created this build. I loved learning more about Senna's legacy, diving deep into McLaren's groundbreaking engineering, exploring the streets of classic tracks online, and researching old reference photos to capture the turn as it would have appeared in the 80s and 90s.
