Stranger Things Mike’s Parents Basement

“Friends don’t lie” –Eleven

The TV show Stranger Things captured what it was like to not only to be in the 80s but the wonder and adventure of being a child. This show gripped with mystery and heart, pulled me in from the very beginning. The LEGO set I designed is based on Mike’s parent’s basement. I chose the basement because that’s where the boy’s play Dungeons & Dragons, where they hide Eleven and plan their adventures. I tried to mirror the onscreen basement by using photo references from the show. In the set, you can find Elevens hideout, the boys game table, shelves filled with books and much more.
