Hawkins Indiana 1983

Hawkins is a small Midwestern town located in Roane County in the state of Indiana, with an estimated population of 30,000. There are many conspiracy theories regarding the area, usually circulating around the Hawkins National Laboratory. One of the theories suggests that Will Byers was abducted by the lab in 1983 and tested on for several days in a basement below the building. Several days later Will Byers was 'found' by Chief Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers. Many theories suggest that Hopper was working with the Laboratory to fake the death of Will Byers. Several mysterious events took place around the same time at the Hawkins Middle School and several mysterious reports claim a young, short-haired girl was seen acting strangely. A year later in 1984 another mysterious event took place at the laboratory resulting in unusual management changes and remodeling of the facility. In short Hawkins, Indiana is an interesting place if only for it's unique theories and wild imagination.
