Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993) - Laboratory!
For most Millennials and Gen-Z kids, some of the best days in school were when your teacher rolled out the cart with the CRT TV and put on an episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy (2 episodes was even better). For this 90s challenge, I decided to recreate Bill’s laboratory and include some of his famous experiments and gizmos!
I wanted to recreate the 90s feel of the show by making things pop with neon colors. When I was a little kid, I loved plasma globes and lava lamps, so I knew I had to include those too, in the event that this does become a set! And don't forget the TV Cart!
Science Rules!
Featured experiments and concepts:
- Chemistry condenser
- Thermal gas expansion
- Inverter Generator
- Van de Graaff generator
- Bowling ball/Apple drop (Newtons 2nd Law)
*Due to restrictions, I cannot decorate the 3 x 3 blue tile with the Bill Nye official logo, although ideally that would complete the look :)*
