Bruce ! Bruce ! Bruce !

For all of us who grew up watching Matilda, it’s impossible to forget that iconic scene where Bruce Bogtrotter is challenged to eat an enormous chocolate cake in front of the entire school, under the watchful and menacing eyes of the dreaded Miss Trunchbull.

In this recreation, I wanted to pay tribute to that epic moment, filled with tension, humor, and, of course, chocolate. While it may look simple, I tried to capture every detail—from Miss Trunchbull’s intimidating presence to Bruce’s nervous expression, all while his classmates cheer him on from their seats.

This scene is not just a memory from our childhood but also a reminder of resilience and the power to overcome challenges (even when it involves a giant chocolate cake!).

I hope this recreation brings back the same nostalgia that made me relive this special moment.
